a love letter to the korg poly-800

tribute recorded winter of 2019-20 in the quad city area

main tracks recorded with a yourock midi guitar controller triggering the poly-800; and overdubs were done with the malfunctioning keyboard section

this particular korg poly-800 has been through a lot over the years and it is finally starting to break down on many levels including stuck and inoperable keys and other weirdness. powered by batteries, sticking keys, anomalies experienced through another midi controller unlocking new sounds, the joy of the joystick and analog goodness abound with polyphony!
